Hello. Hello. We're still here

WOW it's been a short while since I have posted last. Okay. It's been a few months. Life took us for a whirl, shaking things up.

After some serious thought, we decided to put Gypsy up for sale back in March. With retirement approaching quickly we felt a bigger rig with a garage was our best option for life on the road. Why bigger? I am a tattoo artist. The garage would make the perfect tattoo studio. No carpet, private bathroom and sink, and with more room to work... a toy hauler would fit our needs to a tee. So after taking some time researching, we found Gypsy Warrior, a 2018 Heartland Road Warrior 427. We jumped from a 36ft rig to a whopping 44ft beast. OH MY! We sure do love it though, all those new features are FUN! One button to level her and a side deck, YES PLEASE!

A month later we experienced a crazy, amazing weekend, our son Elijah graduated from high school on June 9th in Virginia. Our 4th child to enter adulthood. Someone please stop the clock. When we were teenagers time seemed to stand still. Now that we are parents with teenagers, time flies by way too quick. Needs. To. Stop.

Same weekend on June 11th, Bill retired from the US Coast Guard after 27 years. It was a nice ceremony and reception, with some family that could make the trip and some fellow shipmates Bill sailed with. A very special day for him and we pulled it off without a hiccup.

Since then we made a trip to Virginia, back to Maryland, Philly, NYC, and right now we are in Michigan. Gypsy Warrior has spent the past week in the shop getting some warranty work done before we really set off on our voyage. OH I almost forgot.... we traded in Clifford for a 2015 RAM 3500 Laramie 4x4. What a luxury compared to Gypsy and Clifford. NOW we are ready to take on our travels across the country!!
