Challenge is: 22 days and camp under $22.

Updated: Aug 13, 2018

...or at least that is our plan!

When we started our journey back in June, we said we would save as much money as we could each month by simply boondocking at rest areas and truck stops. We thought this was a great idea. We could do that, sure it wasn't a "sight for sore eyes" type of stop, but a free stop none the less.

However, all our plans changed last week when I remembered a website I found 2 years ago, when we started our RV life, called Harvest Hosts. A subscription site for full time RV'ers, in self contained rigs, that can boondock while supporting small businesses and local attractions. So we joined!

Then I immediately came across another website called Boondocks Welcome! Really?! Two subscription sites that offer amazing places to camp a night or two. So now our plan is to travel from Michigan to Oregon in 22 days and camp UNDER $22 . Can it really be that easy?

We shall see.

Challenge accepted. Members of both sites and ready to roll.

Really.

Let's roll.
